Plymouth Argyle Community Trust is the official charity of Plymouth Argyle Football Club.
The aim of their new facility ‘The Hub at Foulston Park’ is to offer a range of health and wellbeing opportunities to the local community, including state-of-the-art gym, physical activity programs, mental health support, youth and veterans programmes and life skills training.We were appointed as their preferred supplier to design and install various AV systems into their new facility which included:
Multi-Function Room – Presentation displays and audio system
Soft Play Area – Audio system with paging capabilities
Gym – Audio system and displays suitable for the range of fitness classes offered
Office & Meeting Room – Presentation system and video conferencing system
Classrooms – Interactive displays
Public spaces – Multiple displays throughout key areas
The key requirement was to ensure that the solutions provided were not only intuitive for staff and tenants to operate, but also robust enough for general public use without compromising on quality or security.

The Solution

Multi-Function Room and Bar

A Bose multi zone amplifier complete with ceiling speakers and secure wireless streaming functionality – offering future expansion into additional ‘zones’ if required
2 x 65” displays, with independent HDMI wall connection points plus a HDMI distribution amplifier to extend the main display content to the repeater display at the rear of the room when required.

Soft Play Area

A Bose zone amplifier complete with wall mounted speakers and secure wireless streaming functionality
Push to talk paging microphone to provide notifications

Gym Area

A Bose zone amplifier complete with wall mounted speakers
A wireless streaming player to provide the main audio source
Wall mounted displays to provide marketing content and to show live events.

Office & Meeting Room

Main office display for presentations
A Bose all in one video conferencing bar system for the dedicated meeting room

Classrooms

Newline Interactive smart displays
Additional camera for video conferencing and class recordings

Public Spaces

Multiple presentation displays with localised connection points to display varying content.
